The cash register of the future identifies the purchaser on the basis of the blood vessels. Based on the idea of a Swedish inventor, a safe, rapid biometric solution is under testing with 15 test machines. The new cash register identifies the customer by illuminating the blood vessels of the custmers with an infrared lamp.
A Swedish student Fredrik Leifland has reportedly figured an interesting way to pay off bills by using a palm scanner called Quixter that reads the unique pattern of blood vessels in one's hand.
According to Cnet, students have to enter last four digits of their mobile number and then place their palm on a reader to scan the unique pattern of blood vessels in their hand.
Fredrik Leifland an engineering student at Lund University in Sweden is the designer of Quixter the anti-virus blog wrote.
