Media group Nation’s Restaurant News has published its trend forecast for 2019. What will characterise US restaurants next year? Some of the following: the fast casual category will keep growing and developing; automation and robots will be used more widely; the popularity of the cuisine of ex-Soviet countries will increase; meat made in laboratories will be accepted more; Chinese food made in western countries will become more authentic; in sandwiches breaded meats will become more popular; quality culinary services will be provided in a growing number of places, such as cinemas, theatres and museums. //
