The Hortobágyi Lúdtenyésztő Zrt. established a joint venture in Russia
The Hortobágyi Lúdtenyésztő Zrt. goose breeding company established a joint venture in Russia. The leaders of the Hungarian company and the Kazan-based Ekoferma Zvenyigovo signed the agreement on Tuesday in Moscow at the Hungarian Embassy, before the representatives of the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture and the Russian Ministry of Agriculture.
Varga Ferenc, owner and CEO of the company told MTI that the founders of Ekoferma were looking for a partner to breed waterfowl and the connection was made at the beginning of December last year. He added that currently there is no large-scale goose breeding in Russia, whose population consumes waterfowl in large quantities. (Kegyes Csilla, MTI)
