Finally, ALDI leaves the plastic lid out off the sour cream glasses
By the end of March this year, ALDI will leave the plastic lid out off all Hungarian-branded own-branded dairy products.
ALDI will continue its efforts to reduce the amount of plastic used. Disposable plastics are a huge problem worldwide. As a responsible company, ALDI aims to reduce its use of plastic through a number of measures, and in 2019 it has already removed disposable plastic products, including plastic cutlery, glasses, plates and straws. As part of its “Let’s do it for tomorrow” campaign, the company consistently implements the “Ignore. Re-use. Recycle ”slogan to use 100% recyclable packaging for its own branded products by 2025 and to reduce its use of packaging by 15% by 2025.
