The world's largest confectionery fair has ended
The world's largest confectionery fair the ISM in Cologne has ended on Wednesday, where 32 thousand professional visitors, from 140 countries informed about the supply of the 1503 exhibiting confectionery companies.
Six Hungarian companies exhibited on ISM on a 20 percent larger area than in last year, on 245 square meters – informs Kakuk Márta, Hungarian representative of the Cologne trade fair.
The main trend of the novelties is health: the producers are trying to meet the consumer expectations with teeth strengthening gum sugar, probiotic chocolate, wellness chewing gum and similar innovations.
The experiences also shows that the confectionery industry of the world – thanks to the several new products – continues to grow.
