Optimum Nutrition introduces vegan Nature Bites snack cakes
Glanbia-owned Optimum Nutrition has launched a new line of snack cakes in the US to offer consumers a source of non-dairy protein.
The vegan Nature Bites feature a coating of dark chocolate “protecting a rich, whipped centre of plant-based protein”, with no artificial flavours.
Each cake contains 14g of protein and four flavours are available: dark chocolate truffle, chocolate coconut, chocolate mint and dark chocolate sea salt.
Each two-piece serving of Nature Bites has 6g of sugar and 26g of carbohydrates, and all flavours contain under 210 calories.
