Protective tariff was introduced for milk and milk products in Serbia
The Serbian government has introduced a protective tariff on milk and milk products. The 10-30 dinar (26-78 HUF) levy would protect the Serbian producers – the Vecernje Novosti Belgrade newspaper reported on Thursday.
Snezana Bogosavljevic Boskovic Minister of Agriculture stated that in addition to the protective tariff the ministry also seek to protect the Serbian milk producers with further measures, because the Serbian farmers are in a worse position than the EU producers with larger support system.
