Purchase vouchers due to system errors

Bank Austria issues a total of 21 million euros worth purchase vouchers to their internet banking users as a compensation for system errors lasted for a week. The system errors caused delays of million bank transfers in late October-early November.

The problems occurred when they were trying to change the entire computer system. The smooth operation was recovered after a week. The bank last week apologized to customers for the inconvenience. (Pálfy M. Katalin, MTI)
