Vámos György: retail sales are expanding at a huge pace
Since 2013, retail sales and retail consumption have been growing at a tremendous pace – Vámos György, Secretary General of the National Trade Association told Kossuth Radio.
He explained that families are able to spend more and more into valuable goods. Nearly 1,500 billion forints out of the retail sales of over 11,000 billion forints were spent on housing expenditures. For example, the purchase of furniture almost doubled. In connection with this, he said that family support is clearly “pulling” trade. (MTI)
