Rice cultivation rules are changing

The decree sets out the conditions for rice plantation classification, the competent authority in the procedure (National Food Chain Safety Office), and the formal and content requirements of the application. Applications may be submitted to the National Food Chain Safety Office exclusively on a form designed for this purpose, electronically or by post. An application may be for the classification of one rice plantation. The application must be accompanied by: proof of land use rights for the area specified in the application – if this cannot be determined from the data in the land use register – proof of the fact of rice cultivation (unified application or farming log), a clausal change outline drawing, which also includes the elements of the irrigation and drainage system, and, if necessary, a power of attorney.
