Fast food restaurants enjoying strong growth trough the recession
KFC will invest EUR167million in a project to open 300 outlets over the next 3-5 years in the UK.
According to KFC, the company is
enjoying strong growth through as people are drawn to cheaper meals.
Martin Shuker, KFC Chief Executive in the UK, said to believe that
the chain was taking market share from rivals like McDonald’s; in
addition to the fact that the entire quick service restaurant sector
was growing. Reflecting the current profile of its sites, the new
outlets are expected to be 38% owned by the chain and the rest
