Japan's tourism in crisis
Tourists avoid Japanese trips. Since the March earthquake and tsunami disaster, hardly any foreigners are visiting the country.
Tokyo's Narita Airport received a daily 3,390 foreigners from the 11th of March until the end of the month, which is a 75 percent decline, compared to the 11,500 foreigners per day of a year earlier. At Osaka’s Kansai International Airport a daily average of 1,700 foreign guests arrived, barely half as many as last March – reports MTI.
