Chocolate and dog food is crisis-resistant
Many products’ turnover can withstand the pressure of economic crisis. It seems that the consumer does not want to give up everyday comfort feeling.
Worldwide, it was found that the customers postpone the exchange of their car or the purchase of an expensive electronic equipment. However, many products’ turnover could grow despite the global economic crisis. For example in the United States the turnover of chocolates, meat, the leather goods and condoms has increased. In Hungary energy drinks, cream and vanilla sugar was purchased much more than last year. The most surprising detail: the purchase of animal food significantly increased in Hungary. The researchers explain this phenomenon, that the role of pets valorizes in hard times – reports Figyelőnet.
