Complies with religious laws
If a company wishes to export to the Arab world, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore or Dubai, it has to have special Halal certification. As a matter of fact, it is also practical to have in the German market, where there are 4 million Muslim consumers. According to IIDC Hungary director Günther Ahmed Rusznak, demand is growing for products and services which comply with Islamic laws. He told that the Islamic Information, Documentation and Certification Centre is an independent, accredited test and certification organisation for Halal food and services. Companies that pass the audit win a Halal certification and earn the right to use the Halal marking on their products.
