Something for something
The grill season is at its peak. In the US, a whole industry has been built around the popularity of grilled meat. At the same time, an increasing proportion of Americans are conforming to health trends which do not precisely support the use of charcoal for grilling. This is why a Wisconsin-based company has come up with a “green“ alternative to charcoal in the form of FlameDisk, which is an aluminium disc filled with ethanol. Ideal grilling temperature is reached within a minute and burns for t least 40 minutes. Emission of carbon monoxide is reduced by 99 percent and no ashes are left behind. It is also easy to use, clean and safe.
