According to recent research by the International Workplace Group (IWG), business lunches are enjoying a renaissance, but in a different form: meetings are no longer held in city centres, but at locations close to where executives live.

The survey of more than 500 European executives found that 68% of respondents attend business lunches more often than they did two years ago and 80% of executives now prefer suburban or local restaurants.
