As part of the SopronFest Gourmet programs, happiness will be the inspiration for Sopron’s best restaurants, terraces and ice cream parlors throughout the city for a week. Cooking classes for children, festival chocolate and coffee blends, special dinners with Feri Rákóczi, Gianni and Giorgio, Ákos and his daughter Anna, as well as Krisztián Nyáry and György Dragomán are also included in the program. On May 31, One Eleven and its friends will open the program series with a street gastro festival around Vinodom. Between June 6 and 8, in Lővérek, between concerts by world stars and domestic favorites, the best local wineries await festival-goers in the Poncichter neighborhood, who this year for the first time can order food from the festival’s food trucks via the Wolt application.

The SopronFest Gourmet program will start on May 31st with a street gastro festival organized by the One Eleven coffee roaster and its friends in Sopron, along with Anyukám Mondta in Encs, Ikon in Debrecen, Krois in Fertőrákos, Borsod Burger / A leves in Miskolc, Iszkor in Mályinka, Erhardt Restaurant and Bakery in Sopron, La Téne in Badacsonytomaj, 1 Csepp Pálinka in Hegykő, winemakers in Sopron, Harrer chocolate and, of course, One Eleven coffees.

On June 1st, Feri Rákóczi will be the host at Erhardt Restaurant alongside Zoli Erhardt, on June 5th, we can listen to Krisztián Nyáry and György Dragomán’s delicious literary conversation over a three-course Transylvanian dinner at Deák Restaurant, and on June 7th, we can enjoy dinner with Ákos Kovács and his daughter, Anna, in Fagus Hotel.

Between June 1st and 8th, you can taste the SopronFest coffee blend at Kultúrpresszó, which is a variant of Colombia and Costa Rica Catuai & Caturra. On June 4th, Carson Coma frontman Giorgio and the renowned Italian chef Gianni will arrive for the Italian evening at Kultúrpresszó terrace. On June 8th, Györgyi Kalas will be preparing a cooking class for children.

At the Harrer Chocolate Workshop and Confectionery, you can taste the festival’s chocolate all week long, while also gaining insight into the sweetly secret world of chocolate making. As part of the Citywide programs, the Veganfest events at the Bojtorina restaurant will focus on the gastronomy of Turkey, Cuba and the Aegean region, and even the stories of angels will come to life in the performance of poet and singer Gábor Rejtő. Sopron’s wineries will open their doors as part of cellar tours and vineyard tours.
