We buy travel and book on-line
According to the newest research the number of Hungarian on-line shoppers is over 1 million.
E-Commerce Trend Report 2008, made by
NRC Market Researcher, shows that 1.8 million Hungarians tested the
on-line shopping. It's fourfold as in 2004. The regular on-line
shoppers are only 1.1 million.
The typical on-line shopper is man age
40-49 years, the most common shopped products is book, 15% of the
on-line shopper, almost 400,000 people bought one ore more books last
year. 13% of on-line shopper ordered warm dishes trough the net, 12%
organised their insurance. Clothes ordered only 5%, cold food shopped
only 1%. On this field – researcher said – there is not enough offer
on the net, only a few small food and cosmetic shops sell products,
the biggest market player are out of on-line business yet.
