The Competition Authority fined a tour organizer

The Competition Authority (GVH), fined the Beck Reisen Ltd. tour organizer company for 8 million HUF, because of giving misleading information over Egypt and Nile cruises and over prizes given by Beck membership in 2010.

In April and May 2010, a number of consumers received direct marketing (DM) letters in which they were informed, that they won an 8-day Nile cruise, “guaranteed for free”. The company did not mention the other costs incurred in connection with the use of waterways – reports ProfitLine.hu.
