Travel agencies: reason to be suspicious if there are too many special offers

There are 1200 travel agencies in Hungary, and nearly one million peole use their services – spokesperson of the Association of Travel Agencies told InfoRáadió. Three of these offices went bankrupt last year, which affected thousands of people.

We might believe that three bankrupcies is not a significant number compared to other sectors of economics, but even one bankruptcy affects thousands of people. Many times it’s useful to look at the first signs of bankruptcy: seems like most travel agencies opt for several special offers paralelly if the first signs of cracking appear.
