The way to Hungarian shelves
Austrian have learned from the flood of imports to their market at the time of their accession to the EU and prepared for a similar flood of exports in 2004. Josef Domschitz co-authored a handbook identifying export possibilities in Hungary. Similar books were also written about other new EU states. Their export offensive seems to be working, as Austrian export to Hungary grew by 22 per cent last year, while Hungarian export to Austria fell by 5 per cent.
