United States: the recovery may last for years
The U.S. economy will be affected by the crisis, for a long time. Although the growth forecasts are favorable and new jobs will be established, the unemployment rate may stagnate on a 10 percent level.
According to the current projections U.S. economy, may increase by 3 percent next year which is good news on the one hand and bad news on the other. Bad, because this value is very low, compared to the past decades of the recoveries from the crisis (after the 1958 recession it was 10 percent). Good, because in the past 20 years, a lower (2.8 percent) growth was characterized the U.S. economy – reports Portfolio.hu.
