Univer relying on a Hungarian tradition
2,600,000 – this is how many bottles of Erős Pista Univer Product Zrt. sells in one year. The Kecskemét-based company is in Hungarian ownership, and it was one of the founders of HUNGARIAN PRODUCT Nonprofit Kft. Krisztina Fleischmann, Univer’s deputy CEO for sales and marketing told that the Hungarian origin of products has become more important for consumers. Trademarks can be a great help for them in finding these products.
Univer has recently launched a real Hungarian marketing campaign: they put ‘textile kitchen signs’ on the labels of mayonnaise products. What is more, consumers can send their text ideas for new signs to the Univer website, and the best ones will make it to the products!
