Union: nearly two-third of the Hungarians do not save for retirement
60 percent of Hungarians do not save for old age. 67 percent of the 36-40 year old population has no savings for retirement – according to Union Insurance Group’s latest survey sent to MTI.
According to the research that was made by interviewing 700 people, it is clear that every third Hungarian expects that he/she has to work for living after retirement as well. 40 percent of the respondents expect to receive less than half the current salary as a pensioner. (MTI)
