Schwarz Group buys recycling specialist
Germany’s Schwarz Group takes over the Austrian Sky Plastic Group through its subsidiary Greencycle. The company is established in plastics recycling and is intended to provide the parent company of Lidl and Kaufland with further know-how in the recycling business.
The aim is to lay the foundation for the production of recyclate in further plastic fractions and for further recycling as raw material,. It is conceivable that the material could be resold to other industries, but also reused in the food and non-food sectors.
