Morrisons trials reusable paper bags
Morrisons is set to run a trial of reusable paper bags, in a bid to ditch its plastic “bags for life”.
The trial will take place initially in eight stores, before rolling out the paper bags across all its stores nationwide, if the trial proves successful.
According to Morrisons, the switch to paper bags would save 90 million plastic bags from being used on an annual basis, the equivalent of 3,510 tonnes of plastic.
