Albert Heijn introduces reusable bread bags
Albert Heijn has rolled out reusable bread bags in 600 stores in the Netherlands, in a bid to reduce the plastic content of packaging used in its bakeries.

The washable bag is made from 100% recycled cotton and can be used to store pastries and bread – or as a bread basket. The product was tested by more than 700 customers before the launch.
