The Street of Hungarian Tastes will opened this weekend
In addition to the typical dishes of the Carpathian Basin, Hungary’s birthday cake can be tasted as well as the winners of the St. Stephen’s Day Bread Competition between August 18 and 20 at the Street of Hungarian Tastes, the gastronomic program related to the St. Stephen’s Day celebrations – Novotny Antal told M1 news channel on Tuesday.
The event was created nine years ago for the presentation of the diversity of Hungarian gastro-culture – Novotny Antal, the organizer of the event said, adding that this year the spices will play the main role, numerous spice makers and producers will be presented at the festival. (MTI)
