Another big growth in television advertising spending
Between December 2014 and July 2015 tea sales were above HUF 8 billion in value. Value sales rose 1 percent but volume sales fell 2 percent. Manufacturer brands realised 84 percent of sales, just like a year before. According to Nielsen, manufacturers spent HUF 920 million on tea commercials in the first half of last year – 82 percent more than in the base period. This year tea commercials were aired for HUF 1.4 billion, 53 percent more than in the first half of 2014.
