A Hungarian specialist is again at the head of Nespresso
Nespresso’s old-new business manager in Hungary is returning home from Scandinavia: Gábor Flesch has held this position before, when his tasks included, among other things, supporting the opening of the market in Romania. His predecessor Alberto Vercelli continues his career in a regional position.

The expert with a degree in economics joined Nespresso in 2007 as a business development manager in Hungary, and from 2011, as the head of Nespresso in Hungary, he also supported the opening of the Romanian market. In 2015, he transferred to the company’s European team as a regional business manager, focusing on the Scandinavian markets. The next request came in 2018: he had to develop a coordinated Nordic strategy and a unified Nordic region as the business manager of the Nordic region. Under the guidance of a specialist known for his caring management style, a new organizational structure that successfully manages the complexity of the region, a diverse and cooperative team, and a more agile, efficient and consumer-oriented organization were created.

Although the business environment has changed significantly over the past years, I believe that in addition to significant economic challenges, there are many opportunities for value creation in front of us, whether in the fields of innovation or sustainability”
– summed up Gábor Flesch, who with his exceptional business experience and extensive market knowledge, as well as his comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of the Hungarian market, will hold the position of business manager in Hungary from October 1, 2022. His predecessor, Alberto Vercelli, continues his career in Nespresso’s Western European zone.
