Balaton Sound is Heineken again
After ten years, Heineken is once again the namesake of Balaton Sound. In addition to name sponsorship, the beer brand, which is 150 years old this year, is connected to the organization and unique programs at many points to make the festival truly memorable. The nationally and internationally popular event awaits visitors with a renewed design, countless musical trends and special activities between June 28 and July 1, 2023.
Launched in 2007, Heineken Balaton Sound has made history as one of Europe’s largest open-air electronic music festivals with world-famous performers, packed programs full of creative venues and famous visitors. In addition to non-live musical genres, such as EDM, house or dubstep, rap, dance pop and reggae also found space on Zamárdi’s shores, with names such as David Guetta, Moby, Snoop Dogg, Patrice or Dua Lipa. The event, which has been held 14 times so far, bore the name of the Dutch beer brand until 2012. This year, for the fifteenth time, the festival will be organized again as Heineken Balaton Sound.
“HEINEKEN is dedicated to embracing creative pioneers and passionate explorers, which is why we were very happy to be able to cooperate with the Balaton festival right from the start. With this, we committed ourselves not only to supporting talents, but also to entertaining festival-goers. Our goal is to continue working together to further strengthen the traditions of sustainable festivals in our country.”
– said Eszter Varga-Nagy, Head of Corporate Relations and Communications at HEINEKEN Hungária.
