Culinary tours once again

In April 17 members of the Guild of Hungarian Restaurateurs (MVI) visited the remodelled Avar Hotel in Mátrafüred, at the invitation of fellow club member László Darvas, where they participated in a wine tasting courtesy of László Babiczki.

At lunchtime Norbert Polyák, vice president of MVI welcomed the team at Hotel Ózon in Mátrafüred. In the afternoon participants climbed Kékestető and visited the confectionery of Szó brothers in Gyöngyös.

Several MVI members attended the presentation of MVI’s Restaurateur of the Year award at the beginning of May. This year’s winner was Zoltán Erhardt, the owner of the Erhardt Restaurant, Pension and Artisan Bakery in Sopron. After a celebratory lunch, the team tasted wine and champagne specialities at the Steigler cellar and in the winery of Kurt Taschner. //

_{Az ipartestület számos tagja vett részt az MVI által alapított Év Vendéglőse díj május eleji átadásán,}_{amit idén Erhardt Zoltán, a soproni Erhardt étterem, panzió és kézműves pékség tulajdonosa}
_{feleségével együtt vehetett át Kovács László elnöktől. Az ünnepi ebéd után a csapat a Steigler pincében,}_{majd Taschner Kurt borászatában kóstolt igazi bor- és pezsgőkülönlegességeket}
