Novelties at the 20th Goose Festival in Kiskunfélegyháza

In addition to the usual programs, there will be several novelties, drama and drawing competitions and sightseeing tour connected to the Petőfi memorial year at the twentieth Kiskunfélegyháza Goose Festival, which will be held on 7 and 8 September – the organizers announced at a press conference.

Csányi József, the mayor of Kiskunfélegyháza reminded that the city and its surroundings were always a recognized as reputable poultry breeding area. Goose breeding has centuries-old tradition that survived wars and political changes, he added, recalling that the first goose festival was organized in 1999, and its popularity has remained unbroken since then.
