2021 price levels again: ALDI significantly reduces the prices of its most popular products
ALDI Hungary is once again permanently reducing the prices of many products. The company’s measure affects 57 of the most popular and sought-after vegetables, fruits and fresh meats. Many vegetable and fruit products will be on the shelves at 2021 prices or even cheaper. From December, the supermarket chain will again offer fish products at a discount every Thursday, up to 30% lower.
ALDI Hungary continues its permanent price reduction measure, within the framework of which it is now significantly reducing the prices of the 57 most sought-after and most popular vegetables, fruits and fresh meats in its permanent offer. During November, the company will first lower the prices of vegetables and fruits, and then fresh meats – which continue to come exclusively from Hungarian sources. The permanently reduced prices will remain in effect not only until Christmas, but also after the holidays.
In the case of vegetables and fruits, the measure affects a quarter of ALDI’s offer, 37 products. The new prices are characterized by the fact that ALDI will offer 10 of the products affected by the price reduction at a lower price than in 2021, and another 12 fruit and vegetable products will be available at the prices valid in 2021. Nearly a third of the fresh meat range, 20 products, will be available at a more favorable price level. The company will offer half of the reduced-priced meats at prices close to the 2022 price level.
“With our current permanent price reduction, we want to provide Hungarian consumers with as much help as possible during weekdays and holiday shopping, which is why the prices of these 57 products will remain low even after the Christmas season,”
– said Bernhard Haider, national managing director of ALDI Hungary Food Bt.
