Another store has been added to PENNY’s Hungarian store network
The newest unit of one of the leading discount store chains in our country opened its doors in Hajdúsámson. With the handover of the store, PENNY’s network of stores in Hungary has now expanded to 228 members, most of whose stores underwent significant external and internal renewal this year.
The day of Hajdús Ámson residents started with a joyful event on Thursday morning, as the settlement’s first PENNY store was opened. In recent years, the residents of the city and the surrounding area have expressed their demand for the opening of the store to the mayors of the Hajdú-Bihar county settlement on several different platforms. After assessing the needs, the demolition work of the building on the site of the future store started on February 7 this year. Then, in April, the construction of the store at Kossuth utca 5-9 started. and on the morning of Thursday, November 10, the long-awaited opening of the store took place.
“It is always a pleasure when we can expand our store network in Hungary with another unit. In the case of our store in Hajdúsámson, we consider it a special success that we were able to implement this project at the request of the residents of the settlement and the surrounding area. Furthermore, it is also important to emphasize that the opening of the new store also involves the creation of new jobs, so we are proud that we were also able to contribute to the development of the city. Of course, in our new store, we also welcome customers with our familiar budget-friendly prices, a wide and fresh selection of products, an ever-expanding range of own-brand products, and our quality Hungarian goods.”
– said Eszter Kazatsay, PENNY’s head of communications in Hungary.
