The economic sentiment index in the euro area rose to another record
In July, for the sixth month in a row, the European Commission-led economic sentiment index set a new record in both the euro area and the European Union.
In July, the European Commission’s Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) rose 0.9 points to 118.0 points in the EU and 1.1 points to 119.0 points in the euro area. In both cases, the value achieved is a record, the highest since the survey began in 1985. (MTI)
