Mobile payment set new records in Hungary
Mobile payments in Hungary set new records. The number of mobile wallet transactions almost tripled between September 2019 and September 2020, according to Mastercard.
According to a statement sent to MTI on Tuesday, the pandemic has given a big boost to digital payments. Hungarian users have already moved more than half a million bank cards to their mobile phones, according to the data of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (MNB). (MTI)
