Another record year is expected in the German tourism
Another record year is expected in the German tourism sector. Due to this year’s growth, Germany can maintain its leading position among the European destinations.
The German Tourism Association (DTV) predicts that the number of guest nights will increase by 2-2.5 percent, compared to the 411.9 million guest nights achieved in 2013, so the tourism sector in Germany can close the fifth year in row with a new historic peak and can be the leader again among the European destination rankings, ahead of Spain and Italy.
