Another large-scale campaign against hunger from Mastercard
With the help of the Hungarian cardholders, MasterCard provides the daily school meals of 2167 needy children this year in a value of 86 674 euros. With this result, Hungary proves to be the third most donating nation in the region – the company reported, which this fall launched its Priceless Causes charity campaign in Hungary.
A transaction = a school lunch
Each MasterCard® card payments, such as the purchase of school supplies is a school meal to a Rwandan child. The donation is supported by MasterCard and does not cost anything to cardholders. The public can meet the program in Hungary at information surfaces in Tesco stores between 29 August and 29 September.
