Another major decision to support agriculture
Until the end of June, employers, like other economic sectors, will be exempted from paying public charges on their employees in the sectors most affected by forced downtime due to stop of tourism and hospitality, such as ornamental gardeners, wine and grape growers, pálinka producers, small-scale breweries and game management service providers as well – Nagy István Minister of Agriculture said at an online press conference on Tuesday.
Furthermore, employees only have to pay the 4 percent health insurance contribution, but the amount cannot exceed 7,710 HUF. The epidemic has broken down the activities of ornamental plant businesses at the worst possible time, during its most important sales period, so they are entitled to these reliefs. (MTI)
