Another mid-year wage increase at dm: the 30-year-old drugstore celebrates with an 8% salary increase
The Hungarian dm is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, on the occasion of which it not only offers festive discounts to its customers, but also rewards the loyalty of its employees. After an average 14% basic wage increase at the beginning of the year, the company has now implemented another mid-year basic wage increase of 8%, affecting all employees uniformly.
dm has been a key player in Hungarian retail for 30 years, a market leader among drugstores, making it a stable and reliable company. Thanks to its conscious, customer-friendly business policy, it managed to maintain and further strengthen its market position even in the economic situation of the past period, and achieved outstanding results, maintaining the loyalty of customers. In response to the economic situation and the results achieved, dm implemented an 8% mid-year basic salary increase in this financial year starting July 1, 2023. Thanks to the increase, the cafeteria, shift allowances and Sunday allowances will also increase. The mid-year wage increase is nothing new in the life of the company, there was a similar measure last year, and in January 2023, basic wages at the drugstore increased by an average of 14%, so this year is already the second general wage increase affecting all employees.
