Another company recalled millet balls from the market
Due to the possible presence of Salmonella, Auchan Magyarország Kft. also recalled extruded organic millet balls from the market – the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) informed MTI on Saturday.
The office reminds that Kifli.hu Shop Kft. made a similar announcement on Wednesday, and Biopont Kft. on Thursday. In the case of all three companies, the recall concerns the 75-gram, cheese-onion-flavored extruded organic millet ball with a shelf life of January 22, February 27, and March 17, 2025.
Nébih asks customers not to consume the product.
On Friday, Biopont Kft. withdrew the 75-gram organic sorghum ball with cheese and onion from circulation, also due to the possible presence of salmonella. The measure applies to products with a shelf life of June 16, 2025.
