Another base will be opened by the British subsidiary of Wizz Air
In a statement sent to MTI, the airline announced that flights to Athens, Naples, Lanzarote and Malta would be operated from 22 October by the Airbus A321 installed at the base.
Wizz Air’s first aircraft took off from London Gatwick Airport in 2016, and has since carried nearly 1 million passengers on its flights there. With the flights just announced, the capacity offered will increase by 450,000. (MTI)
