New leader at the head of Unilever Hungary and the Adriatic region
Tamás Ács has been appointed the new managing director of Unilever Hungary and the Adriatic region. The specialist who replaced the previous managing director, Alberto di Leo, is responsible for the markets of Hungary and the Adriatic region, which includes three countries (Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia-Herzegovina).
In the person of Tamás, the company has a Hungarian managing director for the first time since 2015.
“It is a great honor to manage one of Hungary’s largest FMCG companies as an executive. The top priority for me is to keep Unilever, despite the increasingly difficult circumstances – working together with my fellow managers – as a supportive, cooperative community, because this is the basis for any long-term business results.”
said the specialist.
Tamás joined Unilever in 2017, bringing together the work of all sales teams, in the position of Head of Customer Development, where he significantly contributed to putting Unilever on a path of continuous growth. Tamás brought extensive industry knowledge to Unilever, as he previously gained experience as a director and executive at the companies Danone and Mars, and for four years he was the president of the Brand Association. Tamás is married and the proud father of two grand daughters.
