New leader at the head of the Hungarian Decathlon
Sabrina Jacksteit became the new country director of the domestic Decathlon, who will take up her new position from the first of August. The specialist has been working for the company group for nearly 20 years, and now he is coming to Hungary from Germany, where he hopes to raise the market-leading sporting goods brand to new heights with the help of his dedication to innovations and customer-oriented approach. The new manager replaces Diego Rango D’Aragona, who continues his career as regional director of Decathlon in Italy.
Throughout Sabrina’s career, pioneering thinking and customer-focused solutions have also played an important role. In the German team, he introduced pioneering initiatives such as data-based customer sentiment analysis or the customer-centric pricing model. In addition, he paid a lot of attention to the performance and well-being of the employees, and together with the local HR team, he created an operation that focused on the efficiency and well-being of the store employees.
The specialist is also preparing ambitious plans for the period ahead in the domestic market, among his primary goals are the optimization of the customer experience on all channels (by developing stores and e-commerce interfaces), the further development of Decathlon as an employer brand, and the exploration of new opportunities by constantly questioning the status quo . The specialist believes that innovative business models and partnerships are what can raise the existing product and service portfolio to a higher level guided by sustainability and technical innovations.
