New business development and sales leader in Mastercard’s Hungarian team
Berkes Tibor has become Mastercard’s new business development and sales manager. The specialist joined the Budapest office this summer and is now responsible for the basic products of bankcards, corporate card products, prepaid card programs and value-added banking services in Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia.
Berkes Tibor arrived to Mastercard from the mobile telecommunication sector. He has working for the Telenor Group for more than 10 years, where he was responsible for developing and successfully launching the new and innovative mobile financial services. In addition to his career at Telenor, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the MPP Magyarország Zrt. between 2010 and 2016, and in 2011 he actively participated in the creation of the Mobiltárca Szövetség (Mobile Wallet Association).
