New TikTok craze in stores: Angel Hair chocolate is coming to Lidl
After Dubai chocolate, another sweet sensation is brewing on social media – Angel Hair chocolate, Pénzcentrum discovered. The spectacular and extra sweet confection will also appear on the shelves of Lidl stores from Monday. The price and style of the new hit chocolate may be familiar to those who have previously given their waists to Dubai chocolate.
Tests and reactions about Angel Hair chocolate are popping up in TikTok videos one after another: this product is practically a more thoughtful version of Dubai chocolate, tuned with cotton candy and pink coating. Although, like the previous chocolate mania, this one spread almost exclusively on social media, with its appearance in stores, it is expected that more and more people will be interested in it at home as well.
How much does it cost?
According to Lidl, Angel Hair chocolate will be available from Monday, with a 180-gram bar available for 2,999 forints, while supplies last. This translates to a unit price of approximately 1666 forints per 100 grams – so it does not represent the cheap category, but it is not more expensive than the previous “viral” chocolate trend, Dubai chocolate.
Chocolate or more of an experience?
Although experts say that these sweets are more about the visual and the experience than the premium chocolate quality, the TikTok effect is still significant: a trend explodes among young people in an instant, and retail chains also try to keep up with consumers hungry for new things.
The only question is whether Angel Hair will bring with it the same popularity as its predecessor – or will it quickly disappear into the abyss like many other fast-coming trends.
