Auchan has appointed a new product director
From July 1, László Varga will perform the duties of product director of Auchan Hungary. His predecessor, Benoit Barbault, continues his career in France.
László has more than 25 years of commercial experience, he started his career at Cora, where he worked as a manager of various areas. After that, he held the position of store manager at the stores in Debrecen and then Miskolc. He managed Auchan’s largest store in Budaörs for 8 years, then worked as selection and purchasing director in the fresh areas. In his new position, he will work with his teams to ensure that customers can continue to choose the most suitable products for them based on a wide range of products and excellent prices.
“Customers are not in an easy situation today, but we will continue to work to ensure that everyone can find a product in our selection that suits their needs and budget. In addition, as we have done so far, we strive to establish good collaborations, keeping in mind domestic and sustainability aspects,”
said László Varga, Auchan’s new product director.
At the same time, László will also be a member of the management. The former director, Benoit Barbault, will leave Hungary in August and continue his career at Auchan’s headquarters in France.
