SPAR Hungary continues its comprehensive modernization program, as part of which it has modernized the INTERSPAR store located in the Allee shopping center with an investment of more than 2.6 billion forints. The renewed hypermarket raises the shopping experience to a new level, thus SPAR Hungary is shaping domestic retail trends as a leading player.
The Allee INTERSPAR hypermarket, renovated at a cost of more than 2.6 billion forints, will welcome customers with a fresh design, expanded range and modern services from November 27, 2025. In the more than 3,800 square meters of sales space, customers can discover a place where everyday shopping becomes an experience, and where quality, convenience and sustainability go hand in hand.
The renewed beauty and cosmetics department welcomes visitors right at the entrance, where a clean shelf layout, warm lights and a wider, international brand selection await those interested. The new non-food departments welcome customers with a wide range of products, from home decoration accessories and kitchenware to clothing and toys and practical household items. Natural tones, oak elements and earthy colors create a friendly, homely atmosphere. The entire store is permeated by a conscious effort to make shopping not only practical, but also an inspiring experience.
The fresh produce departments welcome customers with a real market feel. The bakery and meat department has been completely renovated, and the range is complemented by a fresh fish counter, sushi bar, and steak and meat aging department. During the meat aging process, processes take place in addition to uniform temperature and humidity that make the beef particularly tender and tasty. The renewed hypermarket now offers steaks that have been aged for up to sixty days. At the fish counter, you can choose from fresh fish and oysters from the daily delivery, while the sushi and Italian gourmet corner offer locally prepared dishes for takeaway in line with international trends. Customers can choose from fresh sushi, Italian-style pizza and focaccia, as well as fruit juices and smoothies, whether for a quick lunch or a snack on the go.
The delicacy island operates according to a new concept: in addition to freshly prepared salads, sandwiches and cold plates, the SPAR enjoy. convenience product range offers a convenient yet high-quality choice for those looking for quick, yet nutritious meals. SPAR WINE WORLD‘s wide wine selection ranges from everyday table wines to premium items, the beverages section offers more than three hundred types of beer and seven hundred types of soft drinks – partly from chilled wine, beer and soft drink shelves. Those with a sweet tooth can enjoy an exclusive Lindt chocolate range, which is located on a separate shelf. In addition to the more than four hundred types of mirelit products, the range of refrigerated and dry goods has also been expanded, so customers can find a wider range of quality products during their everyday shopping.
The renewed checkout zone serves fast and convenient payment: 10 self-service and 12 traditional checkouts ensure that everyone can make their purchases in the most convenient way for them. In response to the increasing popularity of “on the go” consumption, a three-meter refrigerated surface next to the self-service checkouts offers small-packaged drinks to customers. Some of the traditional checkouts operate as express checkouts, so those who only have a few products can pass through the checkout zone even faster. Digital price displays in the sales area help customers navigate, and thanks to modern technological solutions, customers can always receive accurate, up-to-date information about prices and promotions. REpont is located in its usual location, and non-returnable glass, aluminum and PET waste is also collected.
