Focus on the network
Under the motto “Here, there, everywhere” Dachser has presented its products and services at the transport logistic, the world’s leading logistics trade fair, in Munich from 4-7 June.
At transport logistic, the world’s leading logistics fair, Dachser will be showcasing its closely-meshed, globally integrated network. With multimedia presentations, an Iberian Peninsula Day on 5 June and an event highlighting new strategies and developments in the Food Logistics business field on 6 June, visitors can discover and learn all about Dachser’s services portfolio and its European and intercontinental network – fully in keeping with the motto: Here, there, everywhere. Within the scope of the Future Day on Friday, 7 June, Dachser’s HR managers will be fielding questions from visitors relating to personnel matters.
Dachser’s worldwide network has seen a lot of new developments since the last transport logistic two years ago. Through strategic acquisitions and long-term partnerships, the Dachser family has gained strong new members.
At the time of transport logistic 2013 the Dachser network comprises 424 own profit centres – that is 114 more than two years ago. The acquisition of Spain’s number 1 groupage specialist, Azkar, and the Spanish air and sea freight forwarder, Transunion, in January 2013 alone added over 70 branch offices on the Iberian Peninsula and in Latin America to the global network. In 2011, Dachser entered the South African market and now has four branch offices there. In Asia the company has added new country organizations in Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam to the network during the past two years.
